Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate has an expertise in orthopedics and geriatric care, a background in treating different types of injuries, and a passion for rehabilitation. The perfect applicant will also enjoy working with a variety of patients and taking on new challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients with orthopedic problems in a variety of settings.
- Perform home health visits and mobile orthopedic visits
- Perform treatments in clinic
- Communicate with patients and caretakers to ensure continued proper treatment and recovery.
- Communicate and assist PT in treatments and patient care.
Recommended experience:
- Patient care experience in outpatient clinic
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in home health environments
- Proficiency in trigger point and other manual therapy
- Understanding of geriatrics and orthopedics
- Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
