Patriot Broadband has an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Aerial Lineman in Vermont! This position is perfect for adventurers who enjoy the outdoors and are excited to be in new surroundings daily.  

Position Overview: The Aerial Lineman supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication systems that utilize aerial infrastructure. This includes working with overhead cables, lines, and related equipment to ensure the reliable transmission of voice, data, and other telecommunications services. This position is also responsible for ensuring safe operating practices personally and for the team as a whole. 

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant job experience in a similar industry or job experience with similar essential duties is a plus
• Experience with coaxial/fiber optic cables or OSP construction practices a plus
• Ability to be self-directed and work independently
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record
• Able to successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, physicals, and background checks as required
• Must be able to obtain and hold a DOT medical card
• Ability to climb both stepped and non-stepped utility poles to access work areas (climbing with gaffs may be required)
