SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Team Leader this position will be responsible for the safe and timely execution of a variety of plant procedures. This position will be held accountable for being self-motivated while producing high quality products at an efficient rate in cooperation with co-workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Positions parts according to the work order, prints and knowledge of the unit being assembled.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fasteners.
• Operates hand drills, tool and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
• Records all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
• Helps maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident free and healthy work environment.
• Assures that the fit, function and cosmetics are at, or exceeds StageRight/Rogers quality expectations.
• Confers with the team or crew leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory issues.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Good organizational and communication skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language. Associate must have the ability to effectively communicate with fellow associates and managers.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic mathematics, understand how to read a tape measure and the ability to convert decimal equivalents to inches.

REASONSING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required to stand, walk, and bend over, use of arms and hands. Must be able to lift items of at least 50 lbs.
