GENERAL DESCRIPTION:To provide courteous guest service and meet the contact person of every function on their particular shift in an enthusiastic and hospitable manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting the guest contact on every function on their particular shift in an enthusiastic and hospitable manner.
- Organize the crew members to carry out breaks, meal functions and turn-overs.
- Ensure that every room is set properly according to the function sheet as provided by the Catering Office.
- Visually monitor the guest in the room for any hints of the guest requiring attention.
- Ensure the timing of service of appetizers, entrees, etc., to correspond with the guest programs and any other needs.
- Organize times and amounts with the Kitchen on all food functions.
- Perform all opening and closing duties as specified by the Banquet Manager.
- Ensure that all Banquet employees comply with Monarch Motor Hotel, Inc., Monarch Hotel and Conference Center and OLCC Laws, Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested and instructed by the Banquet Manager.
