Responsibilities:
- Communicate with global manufacturers and suppliers
- Product selection, development, and sourcing
- Negotiate price and terms with manufacturers and suppliers
- Place purchase orders with vendors
- Monitor inventory levels/inventory control among warehouses
- New product development/market research
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in safety (PPE) industry strongly preferred
- Bi-lingual English/Chinese (fluent verbal and written) strongly preferred
- 3-5 years or more experience in international purchasing, import/export, sourcing, price negotiation
- Proficient in business negotiations, sales analysis, trend forecasting, and item management
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Familiar with ERP systems
- Computer literate, organized, self-motivated and works well in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task and must be detail-oriented
- Must be a problem solver
