US Bowling Corporation is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer Near Chino, CA
US Bowling Corporation is seeking a full-time mechanical engineer to work onsite in Chino, CA.
Salary: $60,000-$80,000/yr based on prior experience.
Summary: We are seeking a mechanical designer able to communicate with the sales team, warehouse staff, and management team, with the goal of maximizing cost savings and easing installation practices for bowling alleys and components. Applicants should have a general understanding of sheet metal manufacturing methods, geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing, and best practices for manufacturing. Experience in lean manufacturing is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes and methods to streamline fabrication and warehousing efforts
- Manage, review, and modify existing manufacturing detail drawings
- Design and model components for existing and new machines
- Create new detail drawings suitable for production
- Collaborate with management, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure designs meet the needs of customers, installation crews, and warehouse employees
Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience with sheet metal manufacturing for production - Required!
- Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have experience with Solidworks
- Must have experience with mechanical design and component design
- Must have mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
• Six Sigma or other lean manufacturing experience in relation to design best practices and process excellence
• Experience with 2D CAD program(s) such as AutoCAD, QuickCAD, or similar
• General understanding of bowling gameplay and bowling alley layout
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
