The Director of Product Management will lead the strategy and execution of the Alluxio Enterprise product and be responsible for leading the vision for future Alluxio products. This role will also work closely with the community team to jointly define the roadmap for the Alluxio community project. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, defining technical specifications, product requirements, and ensuring each release meets a high standard of simplicity and usability. We are looking for someone with the ability to understand the complexity of a distributed system and abstract it into a simple and easy to use product for the end customer.
Leadership and cross functional understanding are both important. You are expected to be a fast learner and work autonomously while providing guidance to other members of your team. You will also be working closely with other leaders in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Community to support their functions and ultimately the success of all Alluxio products.
