Machine Operator Chillicothe, MO Pay Rate: $20.96 Shifts available: Day 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM $2.00 Night shift premium $2,000 Retention Bonus and competitive benefit package While reporting to the Supervisor, as a Skilled Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment. Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture. What You’ll Be Doing: Responsible for the proper operation of the extrusion/thermoforming line. Must demonstrate working knowledge of plant processing equipment and have an aptitude for problem solving. Must be able to properly set-up, startup, operate and shutdown all production equipment. Will troubleshoot and correct processing problems. Record and share information with other team members to maintain quality and machine efficiencies. Performs quality audits. Relieve inspector/packers. Coordinate line requirements with other departments (Maintenance, Material Handling, and QA).
