About The Manager Data and Analytics Role

If you have 7 years of experience implementing data analytics solutions and would like to take your career to the next level within a rapidly growing and dynamic organization, join the SDG family! What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead project management in complex environments ensuring timely delivery of high quality solutions
  • Architect innovative solutions to modern data architecture challenges facing enterprises today including 
    • Migration to cloud solutions
    • Processing massive amounts of data efficiently and with optimal performance
    • Automating complex integrations involving many systems
    • Gathering business requirements and assist with mapping to functional and technical design
    • Modeling data structures according to business needs that follow industry best practice
    • Develop data transformation processes to load target data models ensuring performance and reusability
    • Supporting analytics and data visualization technologies and designing solutions to support them
  • Develop client relationships and position SDG capabilities to cultivate business opportunities
  • Execute operational processes and tasks related to client delivery and internal team management (e.g. demand forecasts, invoicing summaries, career development plans, etc.)
  • Managed teams in the past

What We Look For

-Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Technology, etc.)

-7 years experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)

-3 years of Business Intelligence / Analytics related work experience in challenging environments

-Strong understanding of modern data modeling techniques

-Strong understanding of Cloud services providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft) and how to architect solutions around them

-Experience working with modern Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data Management technologies and a history of recommending good practices and developing innovative and sustainable solutions

-Experience managing teams and projects

-Outstanding oral and written communication skills

-Willingness to travel to clients throughout the NY, NJ and PA area

Desired Skills

-Experience building solutions with cloud data warehousing platforms like Snowflake or Amazon Redshift

-Experience working in the Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Consumer Products or Retail industry

-Experience managing client relationships, developing opportunities and maintaining a robust professional network

-Possesses qualities such as entrepreneurial, ambitious, proactive, detail oriented, collaborative.
