A Cook prepares high quality and nutritious food according to standardized recipes. A cook must have the skills and knowledge to perform a variety of activities involved in the handling and preparation of food, as well as knowledge of dietary restrictions and modifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
  • Ability to demonstrate skills related to culinary experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years: Cooking in an Institution, Hospital, or Nursing Home.
