Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a critical role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Fabricate, install, and repair machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and lubricating machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
- Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify potential issues or hazards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Experience with logic controllers and welding is a plus
