Job Title:Full/ Part time Bartender

Reports To:Head Chef – Food and Beverage Manager and the Kitchen Manager

Summary of Position:If you are an enthusiastic self-starter looking for a part-time hourly summer job as a bartender, then this is the job for you.

We are looking for the following skills:

• ServSafe certified is preferred.
• TIPS Certification preferred

Rate:Depending on Experience (This position does not receive tips)

This is a seasonal summer position – we are open from mid-April to November.

This position is great for college student in the Boston area.

The bar is open 7 days, so a flexible availability is required.

The required shift is:

2 p.m. to close of the club Monday thru Friday, and

12 p.m. to close of the club on Saturday and Sunday.

Duties and Responsibilities:Maybe needed to step out onto the floor to help run drinks, food, or greet guests.

• Taking members’ beverage orders
• Preparing and serving beverages for members of the club
• Operating POS system, accepting occasional cash payments
• Clearing away used glasses from tables when members are finished.
• Cleaning bar equipment.
• Participating and assisting in putting away new stock
• Completes opening and closing checklists daily
• Re-stock bar daily
• Presents a clean-cut, neat and professional image.
• Ensures the neatness, cleanliness of the bar
• Closing down the club when your shift is over*
• You will be required to shut down the club on every shift. You will be required to secure and lock all doors, turn off all lights, and set the club alarm before leaving from your shift.
