Washington College is seeking to hire a Full-Time Strength & Conditioning Coach for various athletics teams on campus. They will serve as the primary Sports Performance Coach for teams assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to; leading teams through training sessions, programming for assigned teams and uploading programs to team software (Teambuildr), assisting in hiring and scheduling of student employees for the fitness center, engaging in discussion and provide science based training to coaches and athletes, and serve as a positive role model, mentor, and coach to the student athletes, as well as being a resource when needed for the athletic department.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include:
- Leading various team training sessions.
- Science based practical programming and testing for student-athletes.
- Assisting other Strength & Conditioning Coaches w/ team sessions.
- Have a general knowledge of applications, Teambuildr and Excel.
- Help with management of Student Employees for the Fitness Center.
- Help lead discussion w/ Sports Performance Interns.
- Bachelor's Degree from and accredited College or University.
- CSCS or SCCC certification w/ continuing education requirements (preferred)
- CPR/AED & First Aid (preferred)
