Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide care and support to individuals in need, including those with autism, dementia, or other special needs.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Implement behavior management techniques
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Engage in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the individuals under your care

Qualifications:
- Experience in nursing home, dementia care, home care, childcare, senior care, or related field is preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Willingness to undergo background checks and necessary training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
