Dalylah Angels Homecare is Hiring a PCA Personal Care Assistant Near Chesterfield, VA
We're looking for an experienced, friendly Personal Care Assistant to support our clients with their daily needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who is capable of handling basic household chores, including laundry, cleaning and preparing meals for childern who are receiving treatment in their home. The Personal Care Assistant will also provide constant companionship to the clients and make sure they take their medication at the correct time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medication and schedule doctor's appointments.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments.
- Help care for children, elderly, and disabled individuals.
- Handle bedpan changes and other hygienic duties.
- Assist patients with day to day activities such as bathing and dressing.
- Ensure the safety of patients who are at risk of falling or who might wander off.
- Help lift individuals or assist with transfers or mobility devices.
- Assist in moving or lifting furniture or other heavy items.
- Must have experience working with children with Autism
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.56 per hour
