We use this knowledge to make your print campaigns targeted, relevant, effective and measurable. B&B is currently seeking a Comptroller to help strengthen our organization and front-end team. We need a high-energy customer-focused individual with a “can do” attitude to support our business as we position ourselves for the next big thing. This attentive professional will have to have a business first mindset and have a contribution to growing the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Job descriptions for accounting personnel. Understand all functions of accounting personnel and be able to back up personnel as needed
• Develop and maintain strong banking, insurance, customer, tenant and vendor relationships.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Safeguard company assets through a well-developed system of internal controls and systematic daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting systems, procedures, controls and reports necessary for recording financial transactions, control of assets, financial information and preparation of taxes and related mandatory government paperwork.
• Develop, maintain and monitor inventory audits and procedures while assisting other departments in maintaining minimum levels and reducing costs.
• Monitor and supervise collection of past due accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and work with auditors in preparation of year-end financial statements.
• Work with tax accountant to prepare federal and state taxes. Prepare and file other governmental fees and taxes.
• Monitor billing procedures and turnaround time.
• Monitor vendor payments and turnaround time.
• Report cash flows and upcoming cash needs to President daily / weekly.
• Maintain a budgeting mindset with company expectations.
• Research, develop and maintain employee benefit package.

Job Requirements:

• Self-motivated
• High attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Minimum of two (5) years accounting experience, Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
