Parkway Schools is Hiring a Painter Near Chesterfield, MO
- Must be a high school graduate
- Demonstrated excellent job performance and attendance
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in commercial painting or carpentry field or related experience
- Must be self-motivated and able to work overtime if needed
- Must possess or be able to obtain minimum Missouri Class E driver’s license or equivalent with an excellent driving record
- Proficient in use all hand tools, power tools, carpentry/woodworking, and painting equipment
- Must possess excellent technical skills and expertise in additional specialty areas such as paint application with a brush, roller, and airless/HPLV sprayer, patching walls, ceilings, doors and taping new drywall
- Able to work at heights greater than 20 feet and on rooftops; able to lift 70 pounds on a routine basis
- Computer literate and familiar with word processing, spreadsheets (prefer Microsoft Word, Excel, SchoolDude)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to relate to a diverse workforce
- Mobility to move in and around buildings
- Must be able to understand and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, for all job related duties and response to safety emergencies
- Able to pass a thorough background investigation and physical
