Industrial Technology Services is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Chesterfield, MI

Job DescriptionRocktech Systems is seeking a Quality technician to join our team. We specialize in high precision machining and are seeking an individual who is experienced in Quality Control and inspection. Must be motivated, flexible, and detail oriented.
Job Description: Inspects products and components to assure they meet defined standards. Utilizing precision tools to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality inspections utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to check quality.
  • Perform in-process inspections
  • Perform final inspection of out-going product
  • Check dimensions against a blueprint to ensure accuracy and customer specifications
  • Fill out quality control documentation
  • Assist in floor production
Qualifications:
  • Two years of related experience and knowledge of CNC machining
  • Skilled in the use of micrometers, slide calipers, indicators, and gages
  • Excellent math skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
