Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in pulmonary care to join our thriving healthcare team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Nurse Practitioner with our practice, you will work exclusively in the office setting, with no on-call responsibilities, weekends, holidays, or hospital duties.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments specific to pulmonary health, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing as necessary.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with pulmonary conditions, incorporating evidence-based practice guidelines and best practices.

- Prescribe medications and therapies for pulmonary conditions in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.

- Provide patient education and counseling on pulmonary health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care delivery for patients with pulmonary conditions.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a focus on pulmonary health documentation.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities related to pulmonary care.

Requirements:

- Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.

- Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia.

- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills specific to pulmonary health, with the ability to manage complex patient cases independently.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to pulmonary care.
