Supervision:§ Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances
§ Assists with shipping, receiving and packaging of material
§ Moves supplies and materials to proper location by hand trucks or other conveyance
§ Stacks materials for storage or binning
§ Collects refuse and salvageable materials
Duties and Responsibilities:Skills
Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Abilities
Able to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Able to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
Able to read, understand, follow directions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Frequently handles objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Able to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs in weight.
Must have manual and finger dexterity; able to grasp, manipulate, handle small objects.
Able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or hold objects.
ADA Notations:Works inside in areas that are usually dusty, dirty, or greasy and outside, sometimes in bad weather.
