We are seeking a dedicated Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor maintenance and landscaping.
Duties:
-Must have a good understanding of ground maintenance.
-Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning of shrubbery and small trees.
-Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking lots using snow plows or shovels
-Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment
-Dig and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers as part of landscape enhancement projects
-Conduct routine groundskeeping duties to maintain the appearance of outdoor areas
*Basic plumbing skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
-Must have a positive attitude, Strong work ethic, attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces and ability to be a strong Team Player and work well with others.
-Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related field preferred
-Knowledge of tree care practices and groundskeeping techniques
-Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
Property is a well-maintained property located in Chesapeake City, MD.
