Capitol Illini Veterinary Services, located in Chatham, Illinois, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team! All experience levels are welcome to apply.

About our clinic: We provide an excellent environment for veterinarians interested in practicing the highest level of medicine and surgery. Our doctors all have varied interests, which we highly encourage and support.

Capitol Illini Veterinary Services is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care. We believe healthy pets make happy people, and we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs in the Central Illinois area. We are AHAA Accredited, Cat Friendly, and Fear-Free Certified!

Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We use Intravet for our electronic medical record software. Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. 

Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry and we refer to our sister clinic in Springfield for our orthopedic procedures. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have pre-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled surgical technicians.

Whether you are a new grad, or an experienced doctor, we are the practice for you! Our supportive work environment enables doctors to pursue their interests in vet med. We are passionate about mentoring and supporting veterinarians through our Mentorship and Leadership Development programs. Our Mentors receive extensive mentorship training and are now Certified Clinical Mentors, so any new graduates can participate in a structured and rewarding mentorship program.

Our Management and medical leadership are committed to supporting our team through career development, continuing education, and personal goals. All Veterinarians will find interesting, diverse, and challenging cases, with a manageable caseload. We promote a respectful, educational, collaborative, and fun workplace environment.
