Job Details

DSA is seeking a highly qualified S ystems Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team at NGIC Charlottesville, VA.

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI Clearance
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Experience may be substituted for degree.)
DOD 8140 (8570) IAM or IAT Level II Certification
Eight years of IT related experience overall
Five years of experience working with Windows server administration
Five years of experience working with virtualized server environments
Experience working in a mixed OS environment utilizing both windows and Linux
Ability to develop and implement system upgrade plans
Windows, Linux, or virtualization environment certification(s)

Desired Qualifications

Experience with scripting and task automation (python, PowerShell, Bash, IaC, etc)
Experience with ESXI
Familiarity with NIST Risk management framework (RMF)
Experience with Security Technical implementation guides (STIG)

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement system updates
Work directly with program analysts to ensure system functionality meets mission requirements
Work with bare metal servers and hardware
Develop images for virtualized environments
Perform Linux administrative tasks
Perform Windows administration.
