Responsibilities

• Human resources and rich fringe benefit administration as well as supervising staff
• Support most aspects of accounting management (A/P, G/L tax [federal, state, real estate and property] forms, reporting etc.)
• Help with cash management and entity liquidity
• Assist with internal controls and policies to conform with federal, state and local statutes
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP principles
• Manage journal entries and reconcile accounts for monthly and/or annual closing
• Assist in the preparation of lender and owner proformas
• Prepare packages of internal accounting ledgers, PnLs and balance sheets for outside accountant tax preparation
• Aid in the development of reports and spreadsheets for management decision making
• Oversee and utilize accounting IT operating systems to ensure security and recommend updates to both software and hardware as needed
