Location: Charlotte, NC; Iselin, NJ
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with a proven track record in cloud security and cyber security. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in the field.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and Implementation:
- Implement cloud security strategies, standards, procedures, best practices, and DevSecOps principles.
- Integrate cloud services and workloads into corporate cybersecurity services through processes and technical controls.
- Deploy and configure CSPM tools across multiple cloud platforms for effective security monitoring.
- Define cloud security policies, standards, and best practices within a multi-cloud environment.
- Promote awareness of corporate cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance across production, development, and corporate systems hosted in public clouds.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to enhance cloud security monitoring and reporting.
- Mentor staff on cloud-based security controls and best practices.
- Educate colleagues on the latest cloud-native technologies for secure service and application development.
- Design network traffic flows for anomaly detection capabilities in cloud environments.
- Develop threat models to identify risks and prioritize architectural improvements.
- Drive the adoption of Authentication and Authorization reference architectures for cloud infrastructure management.
- Foster a culture of security by working with business teams to balance performance and security.
- Perform regular reviews of cloud infrastructure for security compliance and best practices.
- Work with engineering and operations teams to implement controls addressing identified security gaps.
