Job Description **Hybrid in Charlotte, NC.**

Our utilities client is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $62.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Developer:
  • Identify and recommend solutions and delivery of applications
  • Develop and maintain awareness of emerging technological trends and best practices
  • Anticipate internal and external influences that may impact system designs
  • Raise concerns in a timely manner and participates in the development of action plans to address
  • Ensure solutions meet standards for ETL and application design for the development of all solutions
  • Participate in appropriate peer groups to understand and implement given direction and understand product roadmaps
  • Migrate applications to newer servers as part of sustainability initiatives
  • Create documentation for requirements, analysis, design, test plans, implementation plans, and support documentation
  • Coach and mentor other team members on best practices, standards, and internal team policies
  • Create and maintain a variety of reports, dashboards, and other applications
  • Perform in depth analysis of business processes and data to ensure alignment with business partner needs and requirements
Requirements of the Business Intelligence Developer:
  • Advanced Business Intelligence (BI) development, data modeling, and database design experience
  • Advanced expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS (multi-dimensional and tabular)
  • Advanced expertise building ETLs to convert transactional data into dimensions and fact tables
  • Experience as a data architect or data analyst
  • Experience in SQL, Postgres, Aurora query writing and use of DBMS technology
  • Experience with Nuclear related applications and/or systems
  • Experience managing end-to-end delivery of data warehousing solutions
  • Comfortable troubleshooting for the most complex issues and implement fixes to systems and applications
  • Ability to visualize long-term results and asset impacts on a system-wide basis
  • Knowledge of trends and advancements of BI technologies and capabilities
