As a Sr. AWS Data Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Candidate should have a proven background in AWS services, ETL, Database and infrastructure, along with a strong understanding of banking industry requirements.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable ETL cloud solutions using AWS services - EC2, Glue, EMR, Lambdas.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated deployment processes.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Amazon EKS, AWS Step Functions or Kubernetes
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Optimize and monitor AWS resources to ensure high availability and performance.
Resolve any performance, security, or scalability issues in the AWS environment.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in the banking industry.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability as an AWS Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong experience in ETL and AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, RDS, ECS, CloudFormation, and IAM.
Proficient in programming language such as Python.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
Deep understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.
Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
Experience with Serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, EMR.
Experience in AWS Glue or other ETL frameworks using AWS services.
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Amazon EKS or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of data storage and analytics services in AWS, such as Amazon Redshift or Athena.
Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging services like Amazon SQS / SNS.
