POSITION:
Speech and Language Pathologist
CERTIFICATION:
Fully licensed in State of MI and has met requirements for Certificate of Clinical
Competence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledgeable in current therapy techniques for students with various speech/language impairments
- Demonstrated ability to effectively instruct children with speech and language impairments including administration/interpretation of audiometric instruments.
JOB FUNCTION:
- Consult with teachers on intervention strategies for helping students succeed in general education setting
- Write goals and objectives aligned with general education content standards
- Provide speech and language intervention to students
- Offer/provide tiered intervention strategies within the general education setting
- Facilitate/lead IEPT meetings as diagnostic or administrative representative
- Evaluate students suspected of meeting eligibility for special education services
- Utilize technology for evaluation and service delivery

190 days as directed
