Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings such as assisted. Duties:
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social and life skills
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Perform heavy lifting as required to assist individuals with mobility or transfers
Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and procedures
- Ability to provide direct support and care to individuals with compassion and empathy
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and maintain a clean environment
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and assist individuals as needed
Specifics - PLEASE READ
This job position is 32 hours a week.
HOURS WOULD BE -
Saturday & Sunday- 8 AM - 4 PM, 4 PM - 12 AM, 12AM - 8 AM, 9 AM - 9 PM
Mondays- 4 PM - 12 AM, 4 PM - 10 PM, 12 AM- 8 AM
Tuesdays- 4 PM - 12 AM, 4 PM - 10 PM, 12 AM- 8 AM
Wednesdays- 4 PM - 12 AM, 4 PM - 10 PM, 12 AM- 8 AM
Thursdays- 4 PM - 12 AM, 4 PM - 10 PM, 12 AM- 8 AM
Friday- 4 PM- 12 AM, 4 PM - 10 PM, 12 AM- 8 AM
We pay $18. We currently do not offer benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, 401k, etc.
There is opportunity for 40 hours if needed, but no less than 32 hours a week. We do NOT offer overtime.
You MUST have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
