Responsibilities
- Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during production, performing repairs or requesting assistance as necessary
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and packaging requirements
- Package finished products for shipment or distribution, following proper labeling and documentation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
- Document production data and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Prior experience in machine setups for production runs
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Packaging experience, including knowledge of labeling and documentation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required
- High school diploma or equivalent
