City Of Charleston is Hiring a Sales Clerk Near Charleston, SC
We are looking for a Sales Clerk to join the City of Charleston's Recreation Department! In this role, you will conduct point of sale transactions and provide customer service.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Computes or re-computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due. Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts or tickets to customers.Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.Gives cash refunds or issues credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.Operates cash register, compiles printed list, and displays cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.Performs other duties as assigned.
