Immediate hire on a great team. Will be responsible for developing test applications to run on companies test equipment. These test applications consist of adaptor cables and software scripts for a variety of DOD aircraft, including helicopters, large transports, and unmanned aircraft. Will work closely with our team of engineers and other professionals to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Will develop test applications for companies test equipment, including adaptor cables and software scripts. Perform circuit analysis and troubleshooting to ensure test applications meet performance and safety standards. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to identify and solve technical challenges. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the avionics industry. Write technical reports and documentation to support the development process. Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in the product development cycle, including concept, component selection, design, product debug, qualification test, documentation and transfer to manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Ability to read and understand test requirements and electrical schematics
• Experience with at least 2 programming languages, such as Python, VBScript, C++, and VB.net

Bonus Skills

• Experience with automatic cable test equipment, such as DITMCO, CK Technologies, or Cable Test, is a plus
• Proficiency in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel
• Experience in cable design for the avionics industry and familiarity with aircraft connectors is a plus
• Understanding of configuration management concepts
• Must be a US citizen
