Tax Manager – St Charles

This small CPA firm is growing and has been year on year by 15%. The partners here have no interest in being acquired. This is a stable firm where their employees are at the heart of it. That’s why they see very little turnover.

They are now in search of a Tax Manager. You’ll have sophisticated tax knowledge on the review side to work with and support the team who are preparing. Right now the Partner is having to manage due to the increased work load which they want to step away from.

Their bread and butter is small business accounting, across multiple industries, predominately Scorps with an average revenue of $5mi – $30mil along with the individuals for those entities.

If you enjoy helping your clients solve problems, here you will get a lot of interaction with clients you can really become a consultant to them and work with them.

It’s a small team, around 20 people so they all work onsite daily together but, you won’t be tied to a rigid schedule. You’ll work your core 40 hours a week in the office, with start and finish times flexible, one person even starts at 5am.

In busy season you won’t be working more than 60 hours in the peak, these additional hours and Saturdays can be worked remotely, and in Summer you’ll be working 32 hours with Fridays off.

Ideally, you’ll have your CPA or EA. This opportunity would be great if you’re a senior with a lot of reviewing experience wanting to step into the manager role or a manager looking for room to grow.
