Albertsons is looking for a Produce Manager to join our team!

About the Role:

We are looking for a full-time produce manager to join our team at our Chandler, AZ location. This position will be responsible for overseeing the production of fruits and vegetables, ensuring that all produce is washed and prepared properly, and ensuring that the facility is clean and organized. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and possess a passion for food production.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the production of all produce items including: cutting, preparing, packaging, labeling, and shipping
  • Ensuring that all produce items are washed and prepared properly according to company standards
  • Ensuring that all produce items are packaged appropriately according to company standards
  • Maintaining inventory of all product on shelves and in boxes
  • Ensuring that all product is shipped out in a timely manner
  • Assisting customers with their shopping experience by explaining menu items and ordering process in a clear and understandable manner
  • Ensuring that the facility is clean and organized according to company standards

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a produce manager or similar position working in food production
  • Knowledge of how food production operations work (e.g., refrigeration units, greenhouses)
  • Experience with packing equipment such as line lockers or pallet jacks
  • Hands-on experience with cutting, cooking, harvesting, and cleaning harvest tools such as knives

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.10 per hour
