Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance. The duties of this position include:

1. Manage the monthly financial close process.

2. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.

3. Improve system efficiencies and business practices.

4. Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.

5. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

6. Review 10-Q and 10-K filings.

7. Write technical accounting memos as needed.

8. Work closely with the Director of Finance to manage and oversee certain finance functions and teams.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Masters degree preferred

2. 6-10 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years of public accounting experience.
