Pharmaceutical Quality Control Chemist

The general duties and responsibilities of the chemist include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
• Conduct advanced testing and/or critical testing, as required.
• Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.
• Participate in investigation activities.
• Skilled and hands-on experience in ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV, HPLC, GC, IC & Dissolution instruments
• Operate a computer and analytical instrument software, including Empower, Mass Hunter, Chromeleon, Lab solutions and LIMS.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have a life science related degree, preferably a chemistry degree
• Prefers experience in Pharmaceuticals, will interview candidates with a strong nutraceutical experience.
• Prefers solid dose pharmaceutical experience (liquids and powders work too).
• 1-2 years of Pharmaceutical experience using HPLC
