- Responsible for performing a variety of support duties within a manufacturing environment.
- Duties may be related to production assembly, materials handling, manufacturing process support, product test and rework and quality inspection.
- May provide training to other Manufacturing Operations Support employees.
- May enter data into or access information in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Responsible for labeling, inspecting and packaging of final container products with manual and/or automated packaging systems from distribution center to customer or clinical trial sites.
- May also set-up, change-over and operate labeling and packaging equipment.
- Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer-generated labels.
- Maintains records and manufacturing/production area to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- May perform initial check of completed documents for completeness and accuracy.
- May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Basic Math Skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to stand/bend up to 8hrs daily
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Receives and processes jobs from the warehouse.
- Manually assembles products.
- Wears proper safety equipment.
- Seals containers and prepares and affixes product identification labels to containers.
- Properly packs all jobs assigned to P&F.
- Works with different temperature requirements.
- Room temperature
- -20 degrees.
- -80 degrees.
- Dry ice.
- Maintains production records.
- Monitors product for proper temperature.
- General housekeeping.
- Operates semi-automatic labeling machines.
- Assembles kit boxes.
- Aids in liquid handling procedures.
- Maintains stock inventories.
- Able to fulfill our bulk filling needs.
- Other duties as needed.
