Location: Catonsville, MD
Type: Full-time, Hourly
Compensation: $22-24/hr (DOE)
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Responsibilities:
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data
Prepare invoices, statements, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile discrepancies in accounts receivable and follow up with clients as needed
Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
Assist with month-end closing activities and financial audits
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
Requirements:
Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role
Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial & Secondary insurance billing is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
