ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This is a Full Time, Salary position that reports directly to the Safety Manager. This position will work
closely with the Field Supervisors, and Field Personnel. This position will require a minimum of an OSHA 30-hour certification.
Site Inspections
o Perform monthly site inspections with the Site Supervisor at all active job sites
o Properly document and file all inspections
o Report all deficiencies to Safety Manger, issue reprimands as directed
o Follow up with Site Supervisors after corrective action has been taken, document and file all corrected deficiencies
PPE
o Fulfill requests as they are submitted
o Monitor and stock inventory and report order needs to Safety Manager proactively
o Ensure proper PPE is always being used
Specialty Safety Equipment
o Track and issue all shared specialty safety equipment
o Monthly inspection of all specialty safety equipment, report calibration/inspection needs to Safety Manager proactively
Field Equipment
o Inspect field equipment quarterly to ensure all built in safety devices are functioning
random and post-accident drug/alcohol screens
Drug/Alcohol Testing
o Assist Safety Manager/Site Supervisors with transport of employees to and from
random and post-accident drug/alcohol screens
o Report any suspicious behavior, activities, comments to Safety Manager
o Complete monthly and annual inspections of all fire extinguishers throughout the
company
o Maintain a record of all inspections
o Exchange noncompliant extinguishers as needed
Fire Extinguishers
o Complete monthly and annual inspections of all fire extinguishers throughout the
company
o Maintain a record of all inspections
o Exchange noncompliant extinguishers as needed
o Monitor and stock inventory and report order needs to Safety Manager proactively
Training
o Assist Safety Manager with onsite training as directed
o Assist with in class safety trainings as directed by the Safety Manager
Accident Investigation
o Work with Safety Manager to document and investigate accidents
o Report all findings to the Safety Manager
Additional Duties
o Perform any additional duties needed as issued by the Safety Manager
Training Certifications that may be provided by ESI
o OSHA 30 – Required within 90 days of start o Confined Space
o Trenching and Excavating
o Traffic Control
o CPR/First Aid
o Additional as determined by Safety Manager

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
