Job Description:

Job Qualifications: Masters degree in social work from a recognized school of social work with at least 3 years of social work experience with at least one year of experience with an LCPA.

Summary of Job: To provide supervision to FSS (case work staff) as well as to the foster parents in our program. To provide ongoing training opportunities that are specific to the needs of the children in care both to staff and foster parents as needed. To ensure timely intakes are completed for all youth within 7 days of admission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervisory Responsibilities for: Family Support Specialist

Provides direct supervision to assigned FSS staff

Plan and implement trainings regarding the therapeutic needs of the youth in care.

Complete accurate and timely documentation in clients charts regarding services provided.

Maintain on-going communication with referral sources and families.

Complete intakes within 7 days of admission for all youth.

Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Key Performance Standards

Therapeutic needs are assessed and addressed on an ongoing basis.

Training needs of foster parents are met to provide the highest quality care for the children in their home.

FSS staff are provided at least weekly supervision to insure services are appropriate for each child.

Compliance with annual completion of Catalytic Coaching and KPI forms for staff.
