Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Age Summer camp Teacher to join our summer team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and education. Hope Lutheran Early Education Center is a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church, and has been serving this community since 1967. We provide high quality educational care for children and their families in a loving Christian environment. We are here to serve the children, the families, and each other.

Duties:
- Implement summer curriculum lesson plans that aligns with educational standards
- Provide engaging and interactive activities for summer school age students
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive environment
- Monitor students and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student engagement and development
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a safe and respectful environment

Skills:
- Experience in classroom management and childhood development
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
• Delaware First Teacher Certificate or higher (Required)
