Overview:

• An engineering consulting firm is seeking a CAD Civil Designer for their office in either New Castle or Dover, DE. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature relating to water infrastructure design and construction. This is a long-term, hybrid opportunity with a lot of room for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups.
• Variety of AutoCAD or Civil 3D Plans, maps, and bills of materials.
• Work in conjunction with civil engineers and project leaders to develop engineering designs.
• Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, innovative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with others.

Qualifications:

• AS or Technical Degree in CADD, survey, construction, engineering, or related fields.
• At least 1-2 years of experience with Civil 3D.
• Hands-on experience with site design or civil design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
