$17.92 / hr minimum - $25.09 / hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsibilities

Safety

Manages processes effectively regarding employee / patient safety.

Record Keeping

Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files, and other documents as required.

Process Improvement

  • Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit / department-based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals.
  • Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate quality communication skills between the care team, outside agencies, patients, and their families through written, verbal, observation, and empathy skills.
  • Rooms the patient and documents required and updated clinical information in the electronic medical record following policy and procedures for process.
  • Demonstrates completed competency for accurate and appropriate documentation in the EMR and patient care following scope of clinical role outlined in policy.
  • Follows office procedures to monitor expiration dates and storage conditions of medications and supplies.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Licenses and Certification

  • Current BLS certification; BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Certified Nurses Aid certification preferred

Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience : 1 year of clinical office experience preferred. Ability to perform manual blood pressure required.
