Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and trees. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various landscape maintenance tasks, such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed
- Assist in the construction of landscape features, such as pathways and retaining walls
- Perform routine inspections to identify plant diseases or pest infestations
- Prune and trim trees to promote healthy growth and maintain desired shape
- Clean and maintain landscape equipment and tools
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of tree care techniques, including pruning and trimming
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and lawn care practices
- Ability to operate landscape equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
