Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient and reliable data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
Write complex SQL queries to facilitate data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
Implement database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions based on project requirements.
Work closely with development teams to integrate databases with other applications.
Document database configurations, procedures, and changes.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for data workflows.
Monitor and manage SQL Jobs and Job server.
Analyze and optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, and connectivity issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on SQL Server.
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating database tasks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services related to database management and deployment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Microsoft SQL Server or Azure database technologies.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Knowledge of .NET or frameworks relevant to database integration.
