Pridestaff Financial is excited to partner with our Carrollton, Texas based client who is targeting a dynamic Senior Accountant to join their growing team!
Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
*Hybrid schedule*
Essential Functions
- Perform accurate, complete, and fully supported reconciliations of balance sheets in compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations
- Prepare, review, upload, and post journal entries, including reviewing, preparing, and reviewing, and analyzing/reviewing month end close activities for discrepancies and coding errors, and bringing any issues to management's attention.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights and relevant reporting
- Coordinate and prepare monthly/quarterly flux analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts and make recommendations to correct errors as appropriate
- Identify & maintain the internal controls over accounting processes and systems
- Participate in system implementations and process improvements by monitoring and assessing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, and drive optimization
- Provide wide range of support for financial statement audits and tax filings
- Key contributor to acquisition integration and purchase accounting
- Conduct special research and projects for the G/L and other ad hoc projects as needed
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years of GL accounting experience required
- Experience with acquisition integration helpful
- NetSuite a plus
- Multi-unit or franchise experience ideal
