Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. With a strong presence in the industry, they have experienced significant growth, increasing revenue from $50 million to $95 million in just three years. This position will report to the VP of Finance, performing general ledger accounting functions, bank reconciliations, month-end close processes, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules for management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the AP/AR Manager and other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and assistance as needed.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with Eclipse or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus.
