Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to learn to provideState Care Coordination and Maryland Recovery Net (MDRN) services toindividuals attending levels , , , or using public behavioralhealth funding and to other populations identified by the jurisdiction.
Thisposition will also meet with individuals at multiple sites throughout thecommunity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience : One year of administrative staff or professional work in a healthcare setting.
Notes :
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following : 1. Experience in behavioral health recovery, to include first-hand experience with mental health and / or substance use challenges andshould be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding gained from personal experience in behavioral health recovery.
2. Training in customer service and public / behavioral health. 3. Experience working with individuals facing behavioral health disorders andhomelessness.
4. Experience preparing accurate and timely reports.
