HIRING NOW! Eldeco is looking to hire two Industrial Electrical Superintendents. Candidates must be willing to travel. This position will cover our projects throughout the Southeast. 10 years of experience as a Superintendent is required.

Interested candidates should have the following:

  • Previous supervision experience required (10 years)
  • Background in educational, industrial, commercial and healthcare projects
  • A demonstrated history of successful leadership and project execution
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Effectively utilize the project schedule to complete the project on time and within budget
  • Capable of laying out project work activities, field installations, and delegation of duties to the project foremen
  • Responsible for ordering office and site supplies to include necessary materials, tools, and equipment for use during construction
  • Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate with project management, engineering, support staff, field employees, vendors, and clients
  • Possess extensive knowledge in reading blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Experience in completing and maintaining essential paperwork such as daily reports, material requests, time sheets, and safety and incident reports
  • Capable of not only mobilizing and starting up a project site but also effectively shutting it down
  • Skilled in evaluating and analyzing problems to develop and implement solutions
  • Competent in training, mentoring, and supporting others in areas that may need instruction
  • Experience bending conduit
  • Understanding of NEC requirements
  • Understanding of low voltage and dimming controls
  • Able to operate aerial equipment
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, climb, walk and kneel
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Able to see in color
