We are urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Med/Surg to join our healthcare team in Indianapolis, IN. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide excellent care during night shifts.

Role: RN Med/Surg
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with possible extension
Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46260

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, recording vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules.

Certifications Required:

• Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
